What is ZOLA
An AI workspace on our own machines
ZOLA runs open models locally, hosted on Tayozola hardware — today the Qwen family, with Gemma for writing, and we swap in better open models as they ship. With a local model nothing is sent to a third-party cloud: your data stays on the network, and the model runs on our own machines. Pro adds optional cloud models, routed through OpenRouter — those conversations do leave the network, and you choose them explicitly.
Fully self-hosted
The local lineup runs on Tayozola hardware — no external API calls. It is the default, and you can keep it that way.
Privacy by default
Conversations with a local model never leave the network, and nothing you say to ZOLA is used for training. Cloud models are opt-in per conversation and clearly labelled in the picker.
Persistent memory
Pro users get memory across sessions — ZOLA picks up where you left off.
